Weronika Plińska
Born in 1983. Cultural anthropologist. Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Polish Culture, University of Warsaw. As a lecturer, she cooperates also with the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, University of Warsaw. In 2010-2011, she did affiliate studies at University College London, Department of Anthropology and at UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies. Her research interests cover anthropologies of art and material culture, community art, ethnography of “professional communities” and methodology of ethnographic research. Between the years 2012 and 2014 she cooperated with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw where she conducted social research for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency.
