Jacek Świdziński

A graduate of Culture Studies at the University of Warsaw, member of Maszin group, author of comic books, including Zdarzenie. 1908 (2014, Henryk Sienkiewicz Literary Award), Wielka ucieczka z ogródków działkowych (2015, award for the best Polish comic book album of the 27th International Festival of Comics in Łódź), Powstanie - film narodowy (2017, Polish Comics Association Award for the best scriptwriter). He has taken part in exhibitions and displays in Zachęta — National Gallery of Art (Warsaw, 2015), Bunkier Sztuki (Cracow, 2016), Galeria Arsenał (Białystok, 2016) and Lieu d'Europe (Strasbourg, 2016). He has published comics and articles in "Konteksty", "Kwartalnik Filmowy", ha.art.pl, "The Guardian" and "Le Monde". He cooperates with "Przekrój" quarterly.
