Magdalena Ziółkowska

PhD, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University, works at the Department of Sociology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the Sociology of Civilization Unit. She is a graduate of the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the same university. During her master's and doctoral studies, she focused on Ibero-American culture. She has conducted numerous field studies in indigenous communities in the Bolivian Amazon. Currently, she is interested in the historical, cultural, and social context of Spanish bullfighting, human-animal relations, thanatological issues, and the social dimension of fantasy works.
