Monika Michałowicz

Curator at the Centre for Photography in Warsaw. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History (Catholic University of Lublin, Institute of Art History, 2012). She translated Anthony Ashley Cooper Shaftesbury’s Sensus Communis: An Essay on the Freedom of Wit and Humor (1709; to be published soon). She is co-author of „Konrad Brandel. Fotorewolwer“ (2022; book concept and content editor, text). Recently she co-curated the exhibition „Lovely is the Youth of Our Age. Photo Albums 1850–1950” in Museum of Warsaw (Ferbruary–May 2024) and co-organised the international conference „Photo Albums. Practice, Metaphor, Context” (8–9.04.2024).
