Kathryn Yusoff

Professor of inhuman geography at Queen Mary University of London. She works on questions of subjectivity and materiality in the context of dynamic earth events. An author of numerous academic papers. In 2018 she published A Billion Black Anthropocenes or None (University of Minnesota Press) In 2024 she Geologic Life: Inhuman Intimacies and the Geophysics of Race (Duke University Press). She currently works in a team of architectural practitioners to represent the UK at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia 2025.
