Reader in Artists' Moving Image at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. She is author of "Therapeutic Aesthetics: Performative Encounters in Moving Image Artworks" (Bloomsbury, 2020/2022) and "Art and Psychoanalysis" (I.B. Tauris, 2012). Book chapters are included in "Women Artists, Feminism and the Moving Image" (2019) and "Screen/Space: The Projected Image in Contemporary Art" (2011). Peer-reviewed articles have appeared in "Screen", "Senses of Cinema", "Rhizomes", "Angelaki: Journal of the Theoretical Humanities", "Film-Philosophy", "Quarterly Review of Film and Video", "NECSUS: European Journal of Media Studies", and "MIRAJ". She is also an art critic and is the reviews editor of "MIRAJ (Moving Image Review and Art Journal)". Her research interests lie at the intersection of art history and theory, artists’ moving image, film theory, psychoanalytic and political philosophy.
