Peter Szendy

Philosopher and Musicologist. Professor of Humanities and Comparative Literature at Brown University and musicological advisor to the Philharmonie de Paris. His recent publications include Pouvoirs de la lecture: De Platon au livre électronique (La Découverte, 2022); Pour une écologie des images (Minuit, 2021); Bendings: Four Variations on Anri Sala (Mousse, 2019); The Supermarket of the Visible: Toward a General Economy of Images (Fordham University Press, 2019); Of Stigmatology: Punctuation as Experience (Fordham University Press, 2018). He curated the exhibition Le Supermarché des images at the Jeu de Paume (February-June 2020).
