Ekaterina Lazareva
Russian artist, curator and art historian. She was born in 1978 in Moscow. She graduated from the faculty of Art History of the Russian State University for Humanities (2000) and the Rodchenko Art School (2012). In 2011 she received PhD in art criticism for the dissertation «The Evolution of Futurism in Italy and Russia from late 1910’s till 1930’s». She is a research fellow at the State Institute of Art Studies and the editor-in-chief of Futurism.ru magazine. As artist she works in various media such as painting, graphics, photography, video, installation and performance. In 2012 she was nominated at the Kandinsky Prize-2012 in the nomination «The young artist. Project of the Year». She lives and works in Moscow.
