Dorota Sajewska

Assistant Professor in the Section for Theatre and Performance, Institute of Polish Culture, University of Warsaw and a Faculty Member in the Slavic Department at the University of Zurich. She teaches theater history, performance studies, and theories of intermedia. Her main interests relate to issues of mediality and politics of theatre, as well as contemporary theories of body, documentation and performance. The author of the books: „Chore sztuki”. Choroba/tożsamość/dramat [“Sick Plays” Sickness/Identity/Drama] (2005) and Pod okupacją mediów [Under the Occupation of Media] (2012); Nekroperformans. Kulturowa rekonstrukcja teatru Wielkiej Wojny [Necroperformance. Cultural Reconstruction of the War Body] (2016, english version: 2019).
